TKPE Successfully Signed Zambia Airport Substation EPC Project
On Oct.19, 2018, our company formally signed contract with Jiangxi International in Zambia Lusaka Jiangxi International Center for the design and construction of the substation and overhead power transmission line in Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Lusaka, Zambia.
This project is the first EPC electric power project of our company contracted in Zambia, which laid a solid foundation for our company’s follow-up development there. From approval to contracting of the project, our company overcame many difficulties such as the tight quoting time, pressure of price reduction, negotiation over contract details, etc. The successful contracting of the project is attributed to the correct guidance and strong support of company leaders, as well as the full cooperation of colleagues of each department. The project mainly includes the construction of a new 132/11kV substation, a 7.5km 132kV dual-circuit overhead line and extension of a 132/88/33kV substation. The main function of the project after completion is to supply power to the new Kenneth?Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka of Zambia. The new airport in Lusaka is currently the biggest financing project overseas executed by Jiangxi International. Our company’s contracting for the airport power supply project represented Jiangxi International’s recognition of our company’s comprehensive capability in general contracting of projects.

“A journey of a thousand miles starts with one single step”. The contracting of Lusaka airport power supply project is TKPE’s another brand-new start in Zambia market. We believe, under the support and instruction of the company, we would create a new business chapter.
