Chinese New Year Memory of Uganda N-H Project Department

Chinese New Year Memory of Uganda N-H Project Department

“As a stranger in a strange land alone, I miss my dear ones far away on festive more than ever.” This was the first time when I had the Spring Festival away from home. Perhaps the atmosphere of Chinese New Year was light here, so the lingering nostalgic melancholy was diluted gradually.
In order to ensure that the dinner of New Year's Eve is wonderful, the three chefs were busy on morning. Bought food, washed dishes, made dumplings and so on, which made a clearly division, each face was filled with joy. At 7 p.m., the staffs that stayed in Uganda went back to the office from their project sites in succession, and began to have New Year's Eve dinner together. Guided by the leader, we recalled the past, imagined the future and made a toast, to hope the company reach higher position in the coming year, cultivate the market, sign more contracts, and reach new heights.
When we had become mellow with wine, some of us talked about dreams, some talked about ideals, some narrated their course of life, some described working experience, and some made comments of works. Some people had gotten together and play cards. Because it was the Chinese New Year, so the game continues to 3 a.m. Because the beds in the office ware less than people, so some colleagues were ready to sleep on the sofa. Thanks to there were a few free beds in the guard room, so they could have a sound sleep in bed.
The next morning, the colleagues of the two project departments left the office for their project site, because the employer and consultants did not have Chinese New Year. We bought some food which only could be bought in capital on the road, and then the upright boy driver drove us back to the Fort Portal offices. The New Year's holiday was finished.
