1 Overview
  HV shunt capacitor is shunt connected with AC power electric system PF (50Hz or 60Hz) equals and above 1kV, which is used to improve the power factor and voltage quality, reduce line loss, and implement the efficiency of power generation and supply.
2 Working Condition
  Installation site: Indoor/outdoor
  Altitude: ≤1000m (No restrictions for special order)
  Ambient air temperature: Minimum temperature is -25℃ and -40℃. Maximum parameters are identified into A, B, C and D, namely 40℃, 45℃, 50℃, and 55℃.
  Seismic degree: The capacitor could withstand seismic degree of 8, without any demage.
The ambient environment should be without obvious pollution, such as corrosive or flammable gas or steem, and etc.
  When the capacitor put into commissioning, residual voltage on the terminal should be less than ten persents of rated voltage.
3 Main Parameters
  Rated frequency: 50Hz
  Capacitance deviation: -5%~+15%
  Tangent of loss angle tgδ(Under rated voltage and 20℃): ≤0.0005 (excluding internal fuse)
  Long-term operation under 1.05 times of rated voltage could be admissable, for 1.15 times could be within 30min per 24hrs.
  For capacitor wih maximum positive deviation capacitance, steady state over-current could be 1.5In.
